The Youth Campus (TYC) recognizes that "time" is one
of your most valuable resources. Donating your time to the TYC volunteer
experience provides the individual an opportunity to grow professionally
and personally. There are a variety of ways you can become involved
with The Youth Campus as a volunteer.
- Fundraising / Special Events
Volunteers will assist the agency with fundraising, special events
and support the fund development function of The Youth Campus.
- Mentor
Volunteers spend one-to-one time with children in our residential
or foster care programs.
- Tutor
Volunteers will assist youth in academic skill areas by providing
one-to-one instruction in math, science, reading, writing, and other
fundamental areas.
- TYC Timesaver
Contribute and support the administrative functions of The Youth Campus.
- TYC Group Recreation
Assist in group recreation - parties, field trips, workshops - with
the children served by The Youth Campus.
Whichever volunteer experience you choose, you will enrich the life
of a child while gaining valuable insights about child welfare, the
social service setting and will work closely with The Youth Campus employees
to move the agency forward to fulfill its mission to serve children
and families with excellence.
