How to Help? Become Involved

Are you 21 years old and have time to give?

Mentor - The Youth Campus asks for a one year commitment to meet regularly with the young person. This involvement should be carefully considered. Reliability is an important element of trust and this ability to trust is the characterisitic you will be helping to strengthen. Our young person will be counting on your presence.
Tutor - Many young people in TYC care lag behind in their academic development. Help with school work can accelerate their progress. When you can bring the time and ability to assist, this can become a wonderful relationship.

Would you like to organize events in your office or club?

Business - Many businesses encourage their employees to contribute some of their time and money to community service. Currently popular is the effort to focus modest funding and hands-on involvement. For example, an office may choose to devote a full summer day to painting or landscaping. The imagination is the limit!
Association - Clubs and organizations often look for a "cause." The Youth Campus is always ready to recruit your help. We are happy to present our case at a membership gathering or to involve your members in our work.

Is Fun your specialty?

Special Events As a way to broaden the reach of our message and involve more people with our children, we are looking for people willing to organize social gatherings to benefit The Youth Campus. We all know people who went to a party and one year later found themselves irresistibly pulled to help individual children. We need to attract them and we need your help to do it.
